While visiting St. Lawrence take in the Echoes of Valour Monument which is located by the municipal building.
Unveiled in August 1992, the Echoes of Valour Monument was dedicated to the victims of the mining industry in St. Lawrence; to the sailors who tragically died in the USS Truxtun and Pollux disaster on February 18, 1942 at Chamber Cove and Lawn Point, and to the remembrance of valiant men who fought and died for our freedom during the World Wars.
